Challenges
The original Standex website suffered from one overarching flaw - information bloat. With dozens of disparate pages featuring outdated content, visitors lacked clarity about Standex’s scope of operations and struggled to locate information. The company’s branding lacked the clean tone and feel of a global, cutting-edge technology company, and with minimal analytics work implemented, it was impossible to track the effectiveness of the website.
Solutions
- We restructured site navigation and developed a new site map, minimizing page count and consolidating important information into primary site pages.
- WiserSites worked closely with the Client to create a new brand style guide treatment and applied it to existing templates and main navigation pages.
- Standex operates in six verticals, which we brought to the forefront of the new website design. A new corporate footer socket was designed and implemented on both the corporate website and On each unique brand segment website, sovisitors can easily navigate between industries served.
- WiserSites and Standex worked closely together to overhaul the website’s copy and create a unified brand voice that showcases the company’s central mission - to be Partners In Progress.
- Implemented robust analytics tracking to help the Client recognize and refine their customers’ path-to-purchase journey.

Result
With a unified brand identity and refreshed visual language, Standex now looks like the technological authority that it is. Its fresh and clean modern style looks beautiful on both desktop and mobile and visitors can easily locate the information they came to find. The site is now used as a first point of contact in both investor communications and recruitment.
